Design/Process-FMEA/Control Plans

Proplanner's FMEA module allows for the tracking of quality values tied to operations in the BOM or BOP(Bill of Process routings). This module gives the user the ability to create FMEA reports that show RPN values, inspection pictures, and Control Plans. These documents can then be automatically referenced into the work instructions generated by the application and sent to the shopfloor. These reports are an invaluable Quality Control Tool and are often required by suppliers within the automotive industry.

D/P-FMEA Features

Ability to create FMEAs related to individual components in the BOM or Process.
Automatically generate shop floor work instructions for parts and tasks where these work instructions include the D/P-FMEA reports and associated Control Plans.
Within the scope of the individual FMEA, the RPN value can be used to rank order the concerns in the design.
Ability to instantly lookup and reference previous fields of FMEA information from any other FMEA entered by any user. The lookup feature is context sensitive to each particular field.
Users can interactively select from a tabular (spreadsheet-like) interface or a structured and hierarchically indented explorer interface when viewing and editing the FMEA.

Create standard FMEA Reports

Ability to compare RPN values of individual FMEA’s, plot the same and examine the behavior of the design.
Ability to customize the Severity, Occurrence and Detection values to the company standards.
Rank the level of concern. Within the scope of the individual FMEA, the RPN value can be used to rank order the concerns in the design.
Ability to document issues with text and pictures linked to the FMEA issues.
Ability to link FMEA issues to Control Plans.
